Anabel Wind, M.Ed, B.Mus (Voice Performance), is the new Director at Larsen Music School.  She has been teaching aspiring singers and professional performers, how to maximize their vocal ability, in a healthy, effortlessly way, since 2002 in Canada and abroad.

Her approach is a holistic one, where the student is at the centre of learning. You will find her approach combines her knowledge of diverse vocal performance techniques, the psychology of performance, the anatomy of the human body, and innovative instructional strategies. Anabel is vocally both classically and contemporary trained, and all her lessons are specifically tailored to her students' needs.

Anabel occasionally co-facilitates workshops training university instructors to become better facilitators and presenters. Anabel moved to Victoria from Vancouver, where she was busy teaching voice, as well as, designing and facilitating performance courses for groups, both at UBC and for the community in Vancouver. Anabel has a substantial performance and recording experience as a lead vocalist, composer and arranger, as well as a chorus member. She was the leader of several Jazz groups, a lead vocalists of several orchestras and big-bands and occasionally performs locally and abroad.
